Another week of variety! We were treated to a special show by Barbara A of some of her favourite quilts, many made with material she purchased in America when she was over there on holiday.

QuiltThis double sized quilt looked complicated, she said it was a very interesting challenge!

Bag

Jean was given some wool that she felt was a bit stiff for jumpers so she made up this useful fold away tote bag.

Quilt

Margaret was given some of the leftover material from our charity group quilts we made last year and produced this lovely lap quilt, again to go to a charity.

Quilt

Amanda is making full use of her long arm machine and made this quite large car blanket. She used the stitch and flip method to sew leftover strips of fabric onto a fleece blanket.

Quilt

This very attractive quilt was also made by Amanda using strips of fabric cut and rejoined to make the hexagonal pattern.
