ANZAC Biscuits

Makes approx 36 biscuits

    • 125gr butter
    • 1 tbsp golden syrup
    • 1 teasp bicarb - soda
    • 2 tbsp boiling water
    • 1 cup rolled oats
    • 1 cup desiccated coconut
    • 1 cup plain flour
    • 1 cup sugar

       

  • Preheat oven to 150dec C
  • Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl
  • Melt butter and syrup in large saucepan
  • Mix bicarb with boiling water and add to melted butter
  • Add melted butter and syrup to dry ingredients in large bowl
  • Mix until moist but firm consistency
  • Drop teaspoons of mix onto greased tray
  • Bake for 15 - 20 minutes until golden brown
