As an active group our members always have something interesting to show us at each meeting.

Flowers

This week another of our long standing members has a big birthday, Barbara S will be 90 years old on Sunday. Many congratulations went to Barbara as well as flowers and a cake!

Judy made this lap quilt using very attractive red work blocks.

Pretty little child’s dress made by Ros.

Embroidery

This embroidered picture made by Barbara K will be framed and presented to a family friend on their wedding day.

A small attractive wall hanging made by another Barbara, Barbara H this time.

Sue has been busy making this baby quilt, she had to keep the colours neutral as she hasn't been told the sex of the baby. She also made this bag to carry all the things a baby needs when out and about!

Jill has been making material flowers used here to decorate a make up bag.

Barbara made this very fiddly pin cushion from a kit.

Pin cushionJan has made a block keeper lined with wadding to hold her blocks as she makes them. She has also made a pin cushion and a holder for various cable that she says appear around her house.

The whole group had a hand in making these quilts for Linus, using donated material they look very bright and cheerful.
