Show-n-Tell

As an active group our members always have something interesting to show us at each meeting.

Show-n-Tell 14th April 2025

Cushion
This week we welcomed once again Isaac and Oscar, our young guests, who showed us what they had been making. This cushion cover was made by Isaac.

And these were made by Oscar, one at home and one at school. Both boys use a sewing machine to sew the long seams, with hand stitching on the felt one.

Quilt

Angie made up this pretty small quilt, fussy cutting the blocks, quilting them then joining them together with sashing.

Quilt Judy bought along the second quilt she made up from the Christmas blocks.

 Bag

Margaret is keen to use up her scraps so made up this useful tote bag.

Quilt

Alison has been busy lately, four quilt tops made, this very stylish one completed. We look forward to seeing the others when they are quilted and bound.

Quilt Judy has made this lovely quilt using the blocks we made up from our Christmas cracker game. She cut and manipulated the blocks until she was happy with the result, added borders and produced this colourful quilt. Another member stitched on the binding and they have enough material for another quilt! We look forward to seeing that one at our next meeting when we will decide where they will be given to.
 Quilt
This butterfly quilt was made by Margaret W from a pattern she adapted from the internet. She also made use of scraps to make a colourful backing.
